Booking information

Our minimum stay is 4 nights except in low season. Occasionally, we may end up with fill-in nights, in which case we may take a shorter booking. In low season the minimum stay is 2 nights.

The Milking Parlour accommodates 4 adults in two double bedrooms with 1 shower room and 1 en-suite bathroom. However, there is a reduced price for one couple booking the accommodation as a 1-bedroom/shower room option.

Prices 2026

Summer: 16 May – 13 September 

Minimum 4 nights   1-bedroom option: £190 per night / £1,190 per week
Minimum 4 nights   2-bedroom option: £260 per night / £1,575 per week

Spring and Autumn: 1 April – 15 May / 14 September - 31 October 

Minimum 3 nights   1-bedroom option: £170 per night / £1,090 per week
Minimum 3 nights   2-bedroom option: £230 per night / £1,470 per week

Winter: 1 January – 31 March

Minimum 2 nights   1-bedroom option: £165 per night / £980 per week
Minimum 2 nights   2-bedroom option: £230 per night / £1,435 per week

Please note: we take a £250 security deposit on the payment of final balance. This is returned within 7 days of the end of your stay subject to deductions for damage or breakages at the owner’s discretion.

Dogs
We welcome well-behaved dogs – please tell us if you would like to bring your pooch (or pooches) before booking. There is a charge of £25 for each dog for stays of 4 nights or less and £50 for each dog for stays of 5 – 7 nights/per week. This is to cover extra cleaning.

Standard booking and cancellation terms
25% deposit on booking and the balance 4 weeks before arrival, plus a £250 damage deposit.

If, following booking, you would like to reschedule your stay, please contact us as soon as possible and we will try to arrange a suitable alternative, subject to availability.

All cancellations will be subject to an administration charge of £100.

If the booking is cancelled 28+ days before arrival, then there is a full refund, minus the administration charge.

If the booking is cancelled less than 28 before arrival, there is no refund. However, if the Milking Parlour can be relet for the same rental period at the same rate or higher, then we may be able to refund you less the £100 administration charge.

Any changes to your booking must be made in writing by email. A booking can only be regarded as amended or cancelled on receipt of our confirmation. 

We recommend that you take out suitable holiday insurance in case you need to cancel.
