The 18th-century barn is set in an acre of garden along a tranquil country lane.
Tea, freshly ground coffee and home-made cake are provided on arrival.
Breakfast for guests in the barn is served in the beamed dining room. Eggs are local, organic and free-range, bacon and sausages are from the local farm shop and we make our own granola and organic bread. Milking Parlour guests have a continental breakfast basket to enjoy at their own dining table.
Bedrooms have sumptuous goose down duvet and goose down pillows with high thread count pure cotton bed linen. Plenty of fluffy white towels are provided along with luxury British-made toiletries.
There is so much on offer in the area. If you love walking, we are very close to the South Downs National Park and there are several walks straight from the barn.
This is the perfect location from which to visit Glyndebourne as well as explore the historic town of Lewes (just 4 miles away), Brighton (13 miles away) and the Sussex coast and countryside.
There are numerous places to visit, such as Charleston Farmhouse (home of the Bloomsbury set), Virginia Woolf's house, Sheffield Park Gardens, the Bluebell Railway, Lewes Castle and Anne of Cleve's house, to name a few.
